Syncing with Cubase etc

Get a SMPTE to MTC (MIDI timecode) converter/unit, like one of the MOTU units or - if you can get one - some of the older units from Midiman, Philip Rees and others - and stripe one track on the DP32SD with smpte timecode. Then run the smpte timecode back to the sync unit and it will output a midi timecode to run your sequencer.
