Tascam 2x2 standalone - USB audio?

Title says it all - when operating the tascam 2x2 in standalone mode will the unit accept audio via USB? I'm specifically thinking of sending audio from my elektron digitakt.

The 2x2 accepts audio via USB when connected to a computer and it's DAW. The Digitakt would show up as a plugin in the DAW, so if your setup is like that then yes. Just connecting the Digitakt to the 2x2 via USB.. don't know what that would do.
