Tascam 414 mixdown

Dig this -
I've got rca cables going from line out on tascam to line in on my tape deck....all settings are correct per manual. But, when I listen to the cassette one the mixdown is complete, I just get a buzzing noise...no music.

Any thoughts?

Hook up the line out to some power speaker or listen to the deck two in source mode through headphone. sound like the deck is not set up correctly for mixdown process. I use the line outs to calibrate these decks so you need to set the mixer and deck for off record mode and have the channel selected to tape and of course panned the channel you want it mixed to.
