Tascam DM 4800 to I Mac

Can anyone give me any information on the best way to connect the DM 4800 that doesn't have the firewire card, to an iMac through thunderbolt ? I have 3 banks of adat and tdif in/out on the DM.
At the minute they are connected to two MOTU 2408 into a pcie card in an old mac pro (early 2008).
Is there an audio interface that could replace the MOTU 2408 that would have thunderbolt.

@WillM Hello. I cannot comment on the MOTU but I can tell you that I have access to 24 I/O of my external DAW via the three TDIF connectors on the 4800. And, make use of the remote layer as well via USB

An RME RayDat in a thunderbolt enclosure would do it. You might also take a look at the Moto LP32 using the ethernet connection (AVB)
