I encountered a problem with my Tascam DP-02 CF yesterday. I didn't use it for a long time, but now - besides the usual noise of the mic-preamp - there is a very present high frequency noise. I attached a soundfile recorded with maximum gain and without any actual input signal. The second file is the same file normalized. You can also hear a periodically sound, which I find disturbing as well.
I would appreciate any thoughts about where these noises and sounds could come from and how to get rid of them.
