Tascam DP-24

Hello everyone.

I just purchased a old used DP-24, and some of the "Record" buttons requires multiple presses to get them to turn on (Red). Can this be remedied
by applying a small amount DeoxIT D100L-25C Contact Cleaner with Precision Needle around the top of the button.

The same goes for the transit buttons (Play, stop, rewind).

I hate to think of taking apart.

The particular type of DeoxIT makes a difference (don't recall the particulars off hand). If you search the forum you should find the relevant threads/posts.
