Tascam MX-80 and Teac tascam series model 1

I would like to know if anyone has experience using a Tascam mx-80 or the Teac Tascam series model 1 line mixers. I would like to know how they sound, are they noisy, and does the Tascam Mx-80 have true balanced in\outs, I am thinking of using them with my digital DM 4800 mixer as a summings mixer
