Tascam series 208i monitor balance knob

Hey guys, i started having issues with the balance knob a few weeks ago. turning the knob from input to monitor has no affect while recording and listen to the audio on my headphones. before i could lower the music play back from my DAW (Studio One) while having my vocal mic louder to record. i hope it makes sense.


I'm thinking maybe my panel settings are wrong in the routing page.

currently i have computer 1 and computer 2 in the line out 1 and 2.
when i tried changing it to master or input, i get no sound during playback from the DAW software or Desktop, youtube etc.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Guillermo! I wonder if you have fixed it? I got similar problem with just-out-the-box device. It looks like DAW stream is not getting to stereo bus and master L and R outputs, though it can be heard on Computer 1 and 2 outputs.

Hi guys,

I fixed this problem today by connecting the interface to a usb 3.0 port at the back of my pc. I read somewhere that simply changing to another 2.0-port also might help!
