TASCAM TM-D1000 wont boot past login screen

Turned it on the other day and it was fine, now when I turn it on, it just hangs at the WELCOME TO TASCAM screen and no buttons work. Is there a master reset procedure that I can do or anything to look for ???

Page 10 of the manual says:

While turning on the power to the TM-
D1000, press and hold down the PARAM SEL
and ENTER keys.

Does nothing when I hold down the buttons when powering on listed above ..... Master reset done how ??? It worked when I powered it on for the first time, now it only boots to the WELCOME TO TASCAM screen
