The Path is too Deep

I have a DP-24, and today it started acting up. When I try to copy a WAV file to the Audio Depot folder, I get a Windows error message. The title of the error box is:

Error Copying File or Folder

The text in the error box is this:

Cannot copy [FILENAME]: The path is too deep.

I tried a two different SD cards, one a brand new one just formatted. All the same errors. I also pulled the SD after shutting off the DP-24, and I tried to copy the file directly from my computer to the card reader with no luck.

I tried to upgrade the firmware from 1.01 to fix this problem, but I can't even copy the firmware file over without the same error.

I run Windows XP SP3. If anyone has an idea, I'd love to hear it. Thanks.

This was a computer issue. Switching USB ports and using a new cable fixed it.

It is usefull software for copy, delete, long path files.
Please try "Long Path Tool" program.
