Timing discrepancy DR-40

Found out a very weird recording with my DR-40.
I am sure the auto-record function was disable.
The continuous recordings of of two hours recording in wav format.
The duration was shrink into 1:45 mins. The speed was altered.
What's wrong??

That's a nice interpretation, but I was simply moving the topic to the correct sub-forum, Handheld and Field Recorders.

Maybe your original recording was recorded with sample rate of 44.1kHz, but now your playback device thinks it's a 48kHz recording.
