Track edit / in - out points

Trying to silence part of a track. I go to track edit - silence - pick my track then I cant get to the timer section to pick in and out points. Manual not very helpful. What am i missing?

Select the track you want to edit----> then set in/outs points----> then select the edit function and execute.

There is a minimum size of track section to be edited.

I guess the better question is how do I set the in out points. It shows the digital time reader but I cant adjust that.

Or is it after setting points on the track then do the silence edit?

Use the jog wheel to move to the points you want to enter and push the corresponding button combination on the machine. You have to press and hold the Set button while pressing the In or Out button.

Ok that worked thank you fellas. What happens if I bounce the track will I need to reset the silence for the new track?

No. Whatever is (or is not) on the track before the bounce will be there after the bounce - including a silent section.
