Transferring data from Neo to computer

I'm buying a new computer (to replace XP, yes I am a dinosaur) and I want a sound card that will allow me to transfer files digitally from my Neo to my new computer.
What type of connection do I need? A USB on the computer with a direct soundcard connection?
What do I ask for?
