Having opened up the DM24, I found that the original trim pots are the Panasonic EVUF 20k.
They are 30mm high, shaft lip is 12mm.

Shaft length is around 16mm, so any replacemtn 18mm would work.

The issue with these is that the Max Gain occurs when these pots are close to 0.00 ohms, I measured the curve and it seems like it jumps from ~0.0 ohms upto 250 ohms at around the 3% mark.

This is why there is a big 'jump' in gain. It's almost like a switch.

Tascam used to offer the SX1 trim pots as an upgrade, does anyone have an idea of what these pots are? I've tried to look for replacements, but it seems that what we're looking for is a pot which is say 10A log type, or something which has a lot of dynamic range in the low end,

So a rotation of 0-50% would change the resistance between 0-10% of the total resistance in a smooth way without any jumps.

Anyone able to provide information? What type of trim pot is used in the SX-1?
