UH-7000 and El Capitan

Hi,

I own a Tascam Uh-7000 audio interface and just bought a new iMac with El Capitan 10.11.3 but although Tascam have released a driver for this OS it does not work. I have removed the old driver I tried and installed the new one, but same issues as the old driver - no sound on playback in Logic Pro X and cannot even play Youtube videos or any mp3s through Finder etc when the Uh-7000 is selected in Preferences-Sound on my Mac (it does recognize the interface and the software mixer can be launched).

Someone please help! I cannot get any response from Tascam email support.

Just curious if you were using the UH-7000 prior to the purchase of the new iMac? If so what was your experience with it?
