US-1641 "Failed updating firmware" on Mavericks

Hi, Im from mexico, sorry for my bad english.

Yesterday I bought the US1641 usb interface finally! I downloaded and installed the V3.00d8 driver, and the v1.02 firmware updater that recommends the release notes for mavericks only, from the TASCAM support product page.... But, when I try to update the firmware, whit the blue bar in the middle, the window says: "failed updating firmware, unplug the device now" WHAT HAPPEND??? ANY SOLUTION??? THANKS!!!

I'm having the same problem. Does anyone actually work at this company? My projects are due in 2 weeks and I'm dead in the water...
