Hi, I just replaced my dp-01 with a us 16x08 and a laptop (which replaced my porta 1). When I read the initial info in the device and the add it said that there was reverb built into the unit. However when I got it, I found that their is no reverb. This is very important to me for zero latency vocal monitoring. That was the one thing keeping me from "going computer" in the first place. I can get a monitor mix with reverb but I have to go through a mixer and reverb unit. Simplification was kind of my goal here but I wound up just adding another piece of equipment on top of everything else.
The question is, is there any chance that the drivers will include reverb on at least some of the channels in the future? Is Tascam working on this? This would also make the unit usable as a live mixing unit replacing a sound board also.
