I purchased a US-1800 to replace my Roland VM3100/RPC-1 PCI card interface. I had that set up since late 2001. I had some issues through the years but no latency issues. Now with the US-1800 recording into Sonar X3 I experience a latency that makes me unable to track projects. I haven't been able to get past 2 or 3 guitar tracks in the over 6 weeks I have been fighting with this issue. My tracked instruments are out of time with each other and strangely enough the gap in timing seems to increase as the song progresses. I have the most recent driver installed, I set the latency to low but it is still bad enough that I wont play my band mates my demo ideas. I have emailed Tascam support with out a response.
