US-1x2HR
Hello there,

I'm trying to record stereo audio through the IN2 TRS Input on the front side of my US-1x2HR.
I tried multiple devices and multiple cables, only the right side of the audio gets picked up. The direct monitoring only outputs the right side, and my DAW also only sees the right side. The signal is stereo through a TRS cable.

I installed the driver multiple times, it does not help. Can it be that my unit is defective?

Thank you in advance for any help...

In case anyone is having the same problem, I found the solution.
IN1 and IN2 Channels on the front side of the US-1x2HR are both mono, even though IN2 is a TRS input.

You can only record in stereo if you open the US-HR Settings Panel software, enable both IN1 and IN2 Audio Inputs, and set IN 1-2 to stereo. Then you can record stereo through the RCA-Sockets in the back of the device using IN1 and IN2 at the same time.

What confused me was that IN2 is a TRS-Socket and I thought IN2 is a stereo input in itself.

TRS in that case means a balanced mono connection, not an unbalanced, stereo connection.
