US 4x4 Firmware update reboot error

Hi everyone.
I just unpacked my newly bought US 4x4 and ran the Firmware update software. I got a "reboot error" message, that repeats over and over. The device does not work with any sequencer or audio software.

Windows 10, 64 bit, updated.

I am quite angry about this. What can I do to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.

Update: the point is that the firmware update messed something up since, for example, the USB light has stopped blinking at all (which, before the attempted firmware update, did). I tried to use old drivers but as I said the problem lies elsewhere. Is there any way to do a factory reset?

hi, after some days they updated this page saying "do not update the firmware". too late for me I guess. I contacted the Italian support agency but they haven't replied to my emails so far
