Hi there. Just bought this unit and I'm really struggling. My set up - W7, Cubase 8, US16x08, Tascam US-2400.
Basically, when I have the faders on the 2400 at 0.00 during tracking the slap back echo effect is 6ms / on 256 samples. I need to get this down, I cannot record with this much latency difference
When I try to use the US16x08 on 128 samples there's no audio from Cubase just direct monitoring.
The best I can get it is having the 2400 faders set to -20.0. And even then trying to play along with my Roland kit via midi is very difficult.
I never had this problem with my FW1884, which I've just blown by accident by plugging in the firewire cable the wrong way, something I didn't know had happened or could even be possible.
I'm hoping my 1884 can be repaired so I can sell the 16x08 because it is completely useless in my eyes. I'm thinking the faders on the 2400 are acting as a mix control between the computer & input. A FB friend is using his old US1800 at 96 samples without issues.
Any help would be grateful.
Cheers
