using outboard pre amps with the DP 24 and a condeser mic

When using a condenser mic, do I get the phantom power from the Scarlett 18i20, or the DP24. Since I'm basically turning the dp's pre alnost off, I assume I'd get the power from the interface? Any answrr will be greatly appreciated.

You are correct. Supply phantom power from the device closest to the mic.
