Using the Tascam Model 12 as a midi controller

I am using ableton and want to use the Tascam Model 12 only as a midi controller. Can the knobs be assigned/mapped to whatever value you want? just like you would be able to do on a standard midi controller?

No. The Model 12 is not a MIDI controller.
