Win 10 and the Tascam 1884 Tutorial

I have my 1884 up and running in Win 10 x64 Pro!
It seems to be rock solid.
Thanks to all who have blazed the trail and shared their knowledge.
I hope once again I have "covered all the bases".

Excellent, I'll refer back to this when & if I ever get to using a Win 10 64 bit DAW PC, still on Win 7 64 bit.

I was able to use the FW-1884 at the beginning of Windows 10.
Then I moved.
I just tried to use it again, I followed DeeringAmps' guide, with no success.
While it does work as a control surface, it doesn't work as an audio interface.
I tried 1 000 combinations in Windows 10 as the default sound card (Rate, bit depth, audio latency), to not avail.
I'm at a loss.
Any advice welcome, especially if you're using the FW-1884 as an audio interface under Windows' 10 64 latest version 1803.

I had some "issues" with the motherboard on my office rig, this was my Win 10 "test platform".
Consequently I no longer can test compatibility.
Schultenmedia reports that he has his rig working (I'm assuming v1803), and plans to post a video.
Until then it remains a "crap shoot".

Tom, thanks for the guide. You have been a huge help with getting the FW-1884 setup since it came out, I think, I remember your help on the Cakewalk forums.

I've recently bought another after having been away from it and am glad you are still at it
