DR-40
I have a DR-40 that's been carefully looked after and seldom used. i.e. taken out of a padded pouch, mounted to a tripod stand, returned to the pouch. I don't use it handheld. The protective clear vinyl is still on the display. It's maybe 3 years old. Early on I noticed the white lettering on the 3 small horizontal buttons was getting dimmer and coming away.

These are the buttons directly under the screen: 1/2 [SOLO] 3/4 [SOLO] REC MODE

The other buttons are holding up and certainly HOME, ENTER, + and - get pressed much more frequently.

It's been good to me and I've been good to it so I'd like to touch it up; if rub on Letraset is still a thing. Then I'd mask off everything else and hit it with several coats of clear acrylic.

This isn't a bit@h fest. I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this and had a remedy.
What I will bit@h about is the small lettering on the rosette for Menu / Quick / Mixer were factory printed in grey. On a dark grey plastic that wasn't too swift a decision. I hope they've changed that.
