X48 bios set up

bsod, could mean over heating,, replace the thermal paste and check the fans...

Hi , I'm getting blue screen on my tascam X48 MKII , error message : windows detected problem and shutted down....." , so I'm looking for bios setup for it or any advise , thanks

Did you ever get the bios for the mkii. I got the same message on the blue screen reinstalled the reboot dvd. Still same thing. Any help will be appreciated

I just fired up my 2 machines for the first time in about 5 years. One of them sprang to life like new. The other is stuck on Host Not Responding message and red flashing meter lights. I can't even open the CD tray. Any ideas?

Thanks a lot indeed... My brand new X-48 MKI is now running! - got it with an analog card already onboard. Not a single trace of dust on the machine, with original box! Just as new...

At the beggining, it was impossible to reach the main page, I was stuck on a "ERROR DISK" line.
So, I did the steps on the first page of Hellvis Presly document but it didn't work. I've went through a blue screen, notifing me that Windows was shut down to prevent damages on the unit...
I restarted the X48, went through the BiOS and checked every line on the screenshots of Presley (aka the king!).
I noticed two lines with different values on one of the BiOS setting page (could'nt remember which ones, I just did visual automatic copy/paste, from screenshots to my unit, making every parameter identical. I was not very hopeful so...)
But once I've did EXACTLY as it was on Hellvis Presley pictures, it finally worked...

So thank you very much, I was expecting much more troubles, since I'm a begginer... So glad to have gone through the procedure!
Hurrah for forums and people who help each other!
Good music to all.
A
