Phil T's "Step by Step Guide" for the Tascam DP-24/32SD

@Arjan P, exactly! My friend asked me how that might have happened and I said that probably, in a meeting, someone volunteered their expertise in English and said they knew a better word to use.

I remember when our ethnic TV station started. They took anyone that spoke the language to translate overseas movies. I remember one Greek movie , the actor said 'bor bor bor ' meaning 'well well well ' . The translation was 'wowie zowie' I kid you not.

When I was in Laos back in 2005 with my wife, we were watching as action movie on broadcast TV not cable. The movie audio was muted so all you heard was the translator. All the machine guns, bomb sounds and everything else were the guy doing sound effects with his voice.

While my wife and I were watching, suddenly "Panasonic DVD" came on the screen and in the upper right corner was the word "Open" shortly followed with "Loading." A few seconds later the movie started playing the second half. The translator was the show, not the movie!
