SD card problems

Thanks again Max. I went off the list you provided and ordered a card recommended by the manufacturer and the machine successfully formatted the card. So the problem was incompatible cards. I wondered about that but when I tried to format the original card it didn't work either. It wasn't until I realized somehow the actual card was no longer in the adapter and it was causing some of the problems.
