Not offended at all in any way, and I understood you perfectly.
You just have to find a way that the board works - for you. That's what I did and I have to tell you - it's a powerful piece of gear for me. I've gotten to the point where the computer is merely acting like a tape machine that only records and plays back my tracks. I record in a way that I try to have the very least amount of edits, which allows me to have more time working on the mix. I'm tough on my talent who wants me to fix this, fix that - so I make THEM fix themselves!!
I mix with the board automation and I mean EVERYTHING is automated in the board - even the EQ/ Comp, Snapshots, and effects! Powerful stuff.
