2488 as a usb/pc interface?

Hi, I have an old 2488 that has a usb out, is it just for file sharing, or can I use it to interface with my pc? Thx!

Good question, I have a DP-01/FX and would like to know how to use it as a computer interface so I could use the phantom power for my mic to record on my computer.
