2488 Neo Hard Drive Size

Hello All,
I am a newbie to this forum. I recently acquired a Tascam 2488 Neo. I wanted to ask how do I check what size Hard Drive is installed in my Neo without opening the machine? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

Completely unsure of a way to check the HD size but - you can check out the partition sizes and add them up - if they add up to just under 80 then the drive is probably an 80GB drive. I believe most units are 80GB from factory - mine is.

Check on the start up screen - again just a guess - it may show up there alongside the firmware version - I dont really look when starting mine up

Press menu, disk, format. The size of your disk is shown, with the option to format if you wish. Simply exit otherwise.

my 2488neo has 149gigs i guess you can change the hard drive to more than 80giigs
