I’m almost afraid to ask this question!
Ref. DP-32/24: Is the SD Card the only file storage for these portastudios? I’ve developed the impression that these machines have no memory capability of their own, and without the SD Card, there is no possible way to retrieve songs recorded on them.

Just only the SD card but with one of 16 or 32Gb you Can record and store a lot of songs and samples

Think of the SD card as a "removable solid state disc drive". Without a SD card there are no songs recorded on them. Not sure what you're getting at or were expecting ...

Just trying to cover my bases. I was pretty sure the Tascam did not store files, but I just thought I would ask. There’s a difference between wondering & knowing.
