I moved my machines from a closet into the control room and now I'm constantly getting an E.dE error. After they warm up for a while they're fine. What is a good temperature and relative humidity for running these machines? I'm not sure why they're all just now acting up since they never gave me that problem when they were in the closet.

That error shows up when humidity is too high, or the dew sensor in the machine" thinks" the humidity is too high, which can make the tape stick to the drum- and "eat" it .The fact that the problem goes away after it warms up seems to show either there is a problem with the sensor, or the humidity is too high in your CR. Easiest fix is just turn them on for awhile before you use them.
