Hi,

I am setting up a vocal channel on my Model 12 for a YouTube series I make. The goal of this channel is to give good reproduction of speech.

I am a little sibilant in my speech and so I'd like to de-ess my recordings. Do you have any recommendations for a de-esser that I could put in the INSERT line for Ch 1 of the Model 12? Or recording tips for reducing sibilance?

Thanks,

- Mark

Sibilance usually occurs in the 6kHz - 8kHz range. Try setting the EQ to about -1.5dB centered at 7kHz.

That's what I would do.
