Deleting folders on DR-40

I know how to delete files from folders on the DR-40, but I can’t find anything in the manual about how to delete an entire folder. I see there’s a way to delete everything from a folder, but not the folder itself. Do any of you know how?

I've never created or used folders on my DR-40, but I know it's possible to connect the DR-40 to a computer via a USB cable.

Could you try connecting your DR-40 to a computer, browse to the desired folder, and delete it that way?

Or browse the memory card directly via the computer's card reader?

connect to a pc and see if you can. I'm not hopeful that you can because of it's menu layout.
