DM-4800 Cubase9.5 DAW control only

Hi All,
I'm currently running a WIN10 PC with Cubase 9.5 Pro and Focusrite 18i20 + Octopre as my interface. Apologies if this question has already been asked a bazillion times....
I've found a DM-4800 at what appears to be an excellent price - am I able to connect it via USB and use it purely as a DAW controller? (not as an audio interface). I'm happy with the way my rig runs currently, but would love the 24 faders that the DM would offer for mixing in Cubase

Hi @Paul Wallace and welcome to the forum!

You'd be wasting a lot of nice and useful features, but yes, it's perfectly possible to use the DM only as a control surface. But you might wanna look for a Tascam us-2400.

Thanks. I haven’t seen a US-2400 for sale for a long time, and this particular DM-4800 just came up at a reeeaaalllly good price....
