DM4800 and New mac mini

Just joined this forum. My power mac has died and I am looking at the new Macmini. Does anyone know if it will work with the DM4800? Is it possible to purchase firewire to USB C adaptors?

You have to use two adapters to convert over three protocols. There are some here that have it working, others not so well, on a MacBook Pro if I remember correctly.
You need to go from FW400 to FW800 to Thunderbolt 3 (on USB C).

Before I bought my 2010 Mac Pro this year, I had this working on my iMac, but that was Thunderbolt 2.
