DP-004 no guitar input

Hello !
My problem is that I can’t record my electric guitar.
I tried to plug direct to line A, then I go through my amp from the headphone to line A , but it didn’t work.
I check the assign, the guitar/mic line...
I couldn’t get any sound or even noise.
Could it be that my guitar have a very low output?
Please HELP

Hi George, and welcome to the forum. I assume you used the Jack A connection with the selector switch in 'guitar' position? That way it should accomodate any 'average' electric guitar. Unless you have a very special type of guitar..

If you wanna use the amp's headphone output, you have to use a converter cable from stereo (mini)jack to mono jack(s). In that case don't put the switch at A in the Guitar position.
