I'm using the DP008EX and like it (except for the convoluted Mixdown, Mastering, and Export). Lately, the power adapter connector into the unit will become disconnected if the unit is move even slightly. This has happened a half dozen times in the last month. It feels securely connected but with a slight movement, it loses power and whatever I was doing is suddenly "scratched" i.e. lost.
I'm actually planning on buying a DP32SD in the near future. It does have a more secure connection than the DP008EX, right ? This DP008EX has had light use and has not been abused. I've tried to anchor the connector with a strip of packing tape.
