Dp24 card to Dp32?

You'd haveta be a whole bunch smarter than me to know that (and less lazy, to look it up)...I've never done it. But I betcha plenny people have. You might try searching the forum.
BUT: I'd be willing to suggest you go ahead and try it - AFTER you've backed up the card, in case the '32 does sumthin' nasty to it (so you can reformat the card in your '24, then put everything back).

If you really wanna play it safe - and do it the way TASCAM seemingly intended (I know for a fact this will work):
->On the '24, use AudioDepot to export the tracks
-> Use the USB connection to copy/move the trax to an external location (like your laptop).
->Then connect to the laptop w the '32's USB connection and use AudioDepot on the '32 to import the trax where you want them.
On the forum here, there's posts about file-naming conventions that make your trax easier to recognize (instead of generic names), but I'mma too lazy to look for it for you.

Using an SD card with files on different DP machines
Hi, Quick and stupid question: Can I simply use an SD card with files recorded on different DP 24/32 machines or do I have to convert and export the files the same way I transfer them to a PC? I was searching for an answer on these forums, but couldn't find any. Paul
