DP24 guitar input

Hi all Dp24 users,
It's not evident in the manual and there's no point in contacting Tascam as you never get a reply, but does anybody know if the guitar effects on input channel H still work with the guitar input switched to normal channel input mode. I suspect it doesn't but I would like confirmation.

I think the H input channel offer impedance changes allowing you to connect guitar/bass to handle power output of those instrument, that's the only difference between all the other input channels A-H

Hi Brownie:

The "guitar effects" available with the -24 can be used on any track. I've used the delays & chorus effects with much success on vocals, keys, etc. They are not restricted to input "H" or guitar use.
