Hi,
With the Lithium-Ion battery removed from the DR 100, I insert a pair of brand new AA Alkali batteries.
Then:
Menu > Battery
AA Alkali
Within seconds the battery indicator is displaying 2 out of 3 bars and as soon as I start recording on XLR input, the “Battery Low” alarm appears.
A second pair of AAs were tried with exactly the same result. This has to be an internal problem.
I know I should buy a mains adapter but tricky to use in the field …
Any ideas?
