DR-40 phantom for different mics

So, the thing is i have a rode ntg2 wich needs phantom power. But i wanetd to know if it is possible to conect also a lavalier (wich doesn't needs phantom) on the R input. Will it work? ... I mean it's not gonna do any harm to the lavalier or something?
I'm not sure if i'm explaining myself... but basically its about using two different mics at the same time, one uses phantom, the other one doesn't. Is there any problem with that?

In general, mics connected with a correctly wired mic cable will not have a problem with phantom power being available. BUT, there are exceptions, even with correct mic cables. So you'll have to check your lavalier mic's documentation.
