Hi everybody. I bought tascam dr40 couple weeks ago and today i wanted to try record with line in. I used 3.5mm jack on one side and 1/4 on the other side in tascam. I picket up mono, ext in 1 and i played song from computer. Input on the side of device is setup into line position. Can somebody tell me if something is wrong with my device or i do something wrong. here is a sample:
