Export UNmastered tracks from DP-01?

Hello Tascam users,

I am trying to Export UNmastered tracks from my DP-01, so that I can Import them to my new used 2488neo.

The only information I can find is about exporting Mastered tracks. The songs I want to export are NOT done. I'm still working on them and just want to transfer them to the upgraded machine and continue working on them. I know I have to do it through a PC, but how do I do it? Please help?

I tried "backing up" a track to the FAT partition like it says in the manual, but so far, to no avail.

I think what you need to do is "song backup" onto the computer then a "song restore" on the Neo. This should retain any editing data you have already done with the song. On my DP-03 this is located in the Data Backup menu. Hope that helps a little.
