Sorry to see that we lost the Forum for a while. Good to see so many of you back!

I need to copy/ export some MIDI files to the CD burner on SX1. The manual eludes to exporting in Standard MIDI, but does not instruct. I played around with it but couldn't get results.

Can anyone out there give me a step-by-step?

Yes. I'll paste it here for others:

Hey Kim,

Glad that you re-joined the SX1 forum! I decided to email you direct since there was a problem with the forum and you usually are the person who has answered my questions.

Hi :-

Yep - it's quite easy as far as I remember.

I'm NOT at the Sx-1, but I think there is a point in the file or edit menu "export midi file".
That puts all midi tracks in a midi file in the export folder on the hd.
Then go to make a cd. Select ISO data cd - not Redbook/audio - and you can put the midi file on the cd.

If this is not right, I must start up the SX-1 and look. (it's not here, but in the studio)
Let me know if it's ok.

Best regards
Kim

I was going to post, but I couldn't remember the details. It been a while since I exported MIDI
