I connected my new Tascam hd-p2 to my macbook pro (mac os x 1.6) via the firewire 800 port. My mac doesn't have a firewire 400 port, so I got a 400 to 800 cable.
My tascam shows up in the firewire bus on system profiler, so I know it has made a connection, but it doesn't show up in my sidebar in finder, on my desktop, or anywhere that I can find it. Does anyone know how I can access the information on my tascam hd-p2? Thanks
