New owner of DP-32SD, really impressed so far. Main requirement was for location multi-track recording/playback with means to transfer files for processing back at base. So this is far more than I need, but was surprised how few options are available nowadays (used to use a separate mixer and 8-track hard-disc recorder but this was getting too heavy to cart around in my old age!). Think the expectation is to use a computer, so glad Tascam still recognise the advantages & simplicity of a dedicated box
