Backups created on the Tascam SX-1 have a .bu file extension. From what I've read this is an OpenTL / Timeline file format, basically an archive containing the raw WAV files of the backed-up project.
I've been trying to figure out how to open these .bu files, and extract their contents (WAV files) without success. None of the archive managers I've tried recognize this file format. Even 7-Zip, which can typically open just about anything, doesn't recognize them.
Does anyone have any tips or suggestions? Thanks in advance!
