I'm stumped with this Tascam issue.. help appreciated!

Hi,

I have been having this issue for a while. I use a Tascam US-144MKII. I am recording bass covers, and have noticed when listening through headphones that my bass comes out of only 1 ear, and not both. I have been told to go to recording devices, select the Tascam, and go to an advanced tab to get to 16bit. Below is a screenshot of my options. The "advanced" tab is not appearing. I have all the current drivers for my device. Any ideas as to whats going on here? I would greatly appreciate the help on this one as I am not sure what to do to solve this issue.

I had this issue a while ago too, in my case only the right side had sound. I was using Audacity and changing the recording input to mono solved it. Just my 2 cents worth.
